17th Limestone, Autumn, 125
Most of dwarfs in caravan was killed by zombie sows and boars. I still can't understand, where they was hiding so we haven't noticed them, but it's not that strange, as we spend most of time in locked fort. Our outpost liason is still there, and he's still alive. Our two marksdwarves, Zefon and Rakust, are at the meeting area now, discussing on how we can save him - and stay alive.
14th Limestone, Autumn, 125
This it true! This is caravan from Anzishzutthan, with outpost liason Avuz Tobulmonom. How long it been since we saw them? A year? Or two?
There wasn't any fog for a week already, so we have a hope, that their visit will be safe. We have lot of things to discuss, and with all goods they must be carrying with them, we'll be able to survive till the moment we'll have our own industry up.

Not sure if this is true, but today Rakust saw something far away on the south. He said, it looks like wagons - nobody spoke things out, but we all have hope it'll be caravan from capital.
One hour ago we had a meeting. Main topic - what should we do, if this is our dorf friends. Some of us still scared of zombies, and we all remember Tun, but... Looking at our migrants, we decided to stay here and build good defencive fortress. Who knows, how much more dwarfs are there in the wilds? This way we will be able to help and protect them.

Year 125, summer
At least summer arrived. Till this moment we have few workshops and food stockpiles in the depth of mountain.
Mining all the way down, we found few veins of sphalerite, so it seems we'll be able to set up pretty descent metal industry soon.
Fiendish fog appears few times a month, forcing us to live underground. Nobody minds this, but we wasn't able to bring all our stuff down yet, and we haven't managed to prepare some descent wood stock. We still have prepared food and drings, but yesterday we noticed, that we're running low on herbs. Tun Lardodok, our main herbalist, decided to take a risk and go out for them - and this was last time we saw him. At least, alive.
A week later, when we already decided, that he's lost, he came back - as a zombie.
R.I.P. Tun, you was a good friend and awesome dwarf, even if you liked herbs and flowers - we still treated you as one of us.
Today, we accepted 4 migrants. Nobody asked, where are they from and how they came to such dangerous place. Now they live with us, working togather on our fort.

Year 125, spring
Ratust and 6 more dwarves at least found a good spot to settle down.
We arrived to the area and prepared to build our new home. Month passed, and now we can be sure - it wasn't good idea.
In a few days after we began to mine out our small hideout, so we can be safe in case of any danger, but then strange fog appeared from the north. Nobody of us knew, what was going on, so for the sake of safety we barricaded in our small cavern. 2 days later, going out from it we found our horses, attached to the wagon, become zombies.
Good point - they left from our area pretty fast and we survived. Bad point - now that we don't have horses, we forced to stay here.
Rakust, together with our miner, Zefon, decided, that first of all we need to build some kind of underground fort and move all our stuff there. Long story short, we began to work.
